Pre-implantation Genetic Testing (PGT) is a reproductive option for couples at high risk of having a child with a specific genetic disorder. PGT can be done for genetic conditions such as: thalassemia, balanced translocations and chromosomal imbalances.
Patients will need to be seen at our subfertility clinic for a fertility work-up to assess their suitability for IVF treatment. They will also be referred to a geneticist for counselling before proceeding with PGT.
