Department of Reproductive Medicine

The Department of Reproductive Medicine comprises of a team of highly trained doctors who are passionate about fertility care. Through comprehensive diagnostic and treatment procedures, the team has helped many couples, locally and internationally:

    • Recurrent pregnancy loss
    • Sexual dysfunction

    • Ovulatory dysfunction
    • Polycystic ovary ovarian syndrome (PCOS)
    • Ovarian cysts
    • Blocked fallopian tubes
    • Endometriosis
    • Fibroids
    • Previous tubal ligation/sterilisation
    • Uterine abnormalities
  3. Men with reproductive problems
    • Low sperm count
    • Absence of sperm (azoospermia)
    • Previous vasectomy
    • Sperm storage prior to cancer treatment
    • Sperm storage for other reasons

In addition to ensuring our patients always receive high-level care, the department also strives to actively contribute to the field through education, training and research.

Education

Recognising the importance of public education, we organise and conduct regular forums for the public as well as medical personnel, touching on various aspects of reproductive medicine and fertility issues.

Training

Apart from offering services to our patients, it is also our aim to share our knowledge and expertise with doctors and scientists in the region. Our comprehensive program comprises of personalised teaching and hands-on experience for visiting fellows. Each training session lasts 6 to 12 months. Since 1996, we have trained clinical fellows and embryologists from various countries including the United Kingdom, Seychelles, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Bangladesh and Malaysia.

Research

Research forms an integral part of our department. Several clinical and laboratory research projects are conducted every year with yearly presentations at international and local conferences.
