What is Subfertility?

A healthy couple who is less than 40 years old and has regular sex may have about an 80% chance of becoming pregnant within a year. For the remaining 20%, half of them will achieve a pregnancy in the following year.

You may have subfertility if you do not conceive after one year of regular intercourse without the use of contraceptives. Subfertility can often be treated. It is a common problem, affecting at least one in 8 couples at some time in their lives.

You should seek medical attention early to find out if there is a reason for your subfertility.
