The KKH Children's Blood and Cancer Centre (CBCC) is the largest paediatric haematology/oncology unit in Singapore, and is also a tertiary referral centre for children with cancers or complex blood disorders from the region.
Under this integrated unit, we offer a comprehensive range of services for children and adolescents with cancers or complex blood disorders. The centre encompasses a multi-disciplinary team comprising the full range of medical and surgical specialists, advanced cancer diagnostics (imaging, pathology, molecular diagnostics), dedicated oncology pharmacists, paediatric nurses trained in oncology and transplant, along with allied health specialists ensuring comprehensive and holistic care for our young patients.
The patient facilities include an inpatient ward for general oncology and blood and marrow transplant and cell therapy, an ambulatory Children's Day Therapy unit for outpatient procedures and treatment, as well as pheresis facilities to support cell harvesting for transplant and cell therapy. Other facilities include a dedicated Oncology Pharmacy, and a Family Resource Centre with a Play Room and Teens Room supported by the Children's Cancer Foundation.
Aside from clinical care and treatment, the centre is also commited to improve clinical outcomes and advance knowledge through research and training in paediatric haematology/oncology and related disciplines.
