Dr Gilbert is a Family Physician, Senior Consultant and Director, Regional Clinical Services (South East) of SingHealth Polyclinics.
Dr Gilbert Tan received his medical degree from the National University of Singapore, School of Medicine in 1996. He obtained the Masters of Medicine (Family Medicine, Singapore) in 2001, Fellowship of the College of Family Physicians (Singapore) in 2004 and the Fellowship of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (Family Medicine Chapter) in 2014. In addition, Dr Gilbert has post graduate diplomas in Geriatric Medicine (2007) and Mental Health (2014).
He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in DUKE-NUS Graduate Medical School and National Examiner for Family Medicine in Singapore.
