Profile
Dr Ho Xin Yi is a Consultant with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in KKH. She graduated from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia in 2010. She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, London, United Kingdom since 2017.
Dr Ho is a strong advocate for equipping her patients with knowledge about their condition in order to empower them to best enjoy their pregnancy journey. As each pregnancy is unique and has different challenges, Dr Ho believes in tailored care for each individual. This approach also extends to her care of the non-pregnant individual who could be facing menstrual problems, issues with fibroids or ovarian cysts. She considers the individual as a whole and offers treatment options that are suitable for their lifestyle and habits. She also has a special interest in colposcopy, which includes treatment of benign or pre-cancerous lesions of the cervix.
Dr Ho is passionate about helping the less privileged and was the President of a Medical Expeditions Organization in her University days. She has spent her free time organizing community outreach programmes and participated in community health screenings. She has also organized and participated in many medical mission trips as she sees this as a way of giving back to society.
