Profile

Dr Anu Menon is a Senior Consultant in the Children’s Intensive Care Unit at KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH) and Clinical Assistant Professor at the Singhealth Duke-NUS Paediatrics Academic Clinical Programme. She graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2005, where she received a Distinction in Medicine and was placed on the Dean’s List in the Final MBBS. She obtained her Master of Medicine (Paediatric Medicine) in 2009 and received membership at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK) thereafter. Chief resident during her paediatric residency training from 2011-2012, Dr Anu Menon is also a recipient of the MOH Training scholarship for postgraduate training in Paediatric Medicine. Following her training in paediatric critical care in Singapore, she underwent further specialist training in paediatric critical care including a subspecialty fellowship in cardiac critical care at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada from 2016-2018. Her areas of clinical and research interest include critical care of the child with cardiac disease and mechanical circulatory support. She leads KKH’s extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) and mechanical circulatory support programmes, coordinating care, quality improvement and education between the multi-disciplinary teams involved.
